Supporting Stronger Connections With a Secure Portal
Better Clinician/Client Relationships
It is important to reduce barriers to support stronger connections. Clients feel more cared for when the ongoing relationship and communication continues outside of appointments. Portals increase client loyalty through enhanced transparency and better engagement with their care team. With use of the client portal, individuals are invested in their own recovery, feel more empowered, and outcomes improve.
Cures Act Compliance
ONC's Cures Act Final Rule supports seamless and secure access, exchange, and use of electronic health information. The rule is designed to give patients and their healthcare providers secure access to health information. As of January, 2023, providers of care with electronic records must comply or face penalties. The rule includes a provision requiring that patients can electronically access all of their electronic health information (EHI), structured and/or unstructured, at no cost.
